Laurice is from California and says... "May Bake #5 - Sticky Spiced Orange Chelsea Buns (Series 9) Notes: I just love saying “Chelsea buns” in a British accent • These are very cinnamon roll-esque but with all the spices baked into the dough • Candying orange peel was new for me and was the most laborious part • Came out pretty good (dough’s a little bit tough) - tastes best warm and of course it’s the orange glaze for me 🍊." It was one of the technical challenges and the recipe was briefly on screen, so I made them while repeatedly pausing and rewinding. The recipe is perfect – authentic and delicious. I soaked the raisins in a bit of Cointreau for added goodness. That two and half hour time limit is a bit optimistic though!" See @nebosuke_bake on Instagram
