RonniesCountryBakery say... So many swirls!! 😍 Rolled up tight with butter, sugar, mixed spices and sultanas then baked and slathered with sticky spicy sugar - who doesn't love a Chelsea Bun!! We've sold out of them but there's still cake for an afternoon treat! We'll have more buns tomorrow, freshly baked first thing, along with the bread. 🥰

Lightly spiced and topped with a rosewater glaze, they were a long time in the making (over 48 hours) but won’t last long! The English Baker, Brussels says... Beautiful, glistening Chelsea Buns filled with raisins, mixed spices, brown sugar and butter. Tried making them with wholemeal flour too (the “healthy” option). Delicious, but ate twice as many!

@breadbysarah says... Drumroll......here is my entry into the #worldchelseabunawards. I decided to make these for the week of St George’s day. I tweaked my original method, adding more sultanas and a honey glaze just before making. This not only gives the top a differential crust that I love in the Chelsea buns from Bennett’s bakery in Dorset, but also gives the bottoms a luxurious sweet sauce. Sprinkled with caster sugar after baking for a traditional finish. . Will be making these again...
